The primary roofing material for this project was GAF EverGuard TPO 60 mil, installed to meet GAF requirements for a 15 year Diamond Pledge NDL guarantee with a 72 mph wind addendum. Work was performed over a 22 gauge steel deck using a two-step insulation system: 1.75 inch EnergyGuard PolyIso was first loose laid, then a second 1.75 inch layer was mechanically fastened with Drill-Tec XHD fasteners and RhinoBond TPO plates. Fastening density increased from field to perimeter to corners for improved wind performance. After insulation installation, the EverGuard TPO membrane was installed per GAF specifications to complete the warranted assembly.
