Project Description:
The main roofing material used on this project was a fully adhered .036 reinforced Fibertite membrane. The scope covered about 76,000 square feet at the Amazon Warhorse facility in Providence, RI. Work included a full tear off of the existing membrane, insulation, and metal flashings. Once the deck was exposed and approved or replaced as needed, crews installed half inch Dense Deck, a Fibertite SA vapor barrier for temporary dry-in, and temporary drains. Tapered insulation, crickets, and sumps were added to achieve positive drainage and meet R-value requirements. All insulation was mechanically attached with plates and fasteners. The new Fibertite membrane was then installed, and all walls, pipes, RTUs, fans, and drains were fully flashed.
